not to worry - the asrock board should be good and with the 4300 you should have a fair amount of potential, definately a bit of an upgrade from your 2600

only thing im not sure about is the memory - you say you have 1.5gb, is that 3 x 512mb or 1gb + 512mb?
just ask because im not sure if the board will support modules of different sizes, and it only has 2 banks
although in the worse case scenario you'll just have to drop to 1gb till you go ahead with the big upgrade or can afford 2gb of ddr2
