These have been at that price at Aira for a while... however delivery is a bit more (ie not free).

These however are apparantly the drive of choice atm:

Last few SATA drives have been Hitachi and happy with them. At the time, some reviews had shown near-top overall performance, often second only to the WD Raptor. Think storagereview do rate the Samsung F1 fractionally faster and a bit quieter at idle though.

Interestingly, storagereview have the new Hitachi E7K series up there with SCSI drives and not too far off the new WD VelociRaptor.

They really should drop the Deskstar name from their branding, it's too easy to remember old Deathstar hard-drives and the complaints of failures.
I might get one of these at that price. Ebuyer have cheap shipping too.
