hi all i have a ASUS Striker Extreme nForce 680i SLI ATX mobo and a Q6600 cpu and i just wanted to know if this psu would be ok for them as it has a red X by Xeon Support not sure what that means. http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductI ... tID=756680 hope some one can help me with this

That PSU will work perfectly with your system. You don't have a Xeon machine so disregard the Xeon compatibility cross (although I have no doubts that the PSU supports Xeon anyway).

However it's more than you should pay for a 500W PSU, the Corsair HX520W is a better buy for £15 less.
