You can beat that mate, replace hs compound, better cooling, overclock the nutts out of the core, put conroe at atleast 3.2 and you'll be laughing :)

got a zalman vf900-cu on it dude, only loads at 50C :D

stock thing use to hit 65C regularly :(

might look up some vmods, the mems good for about 600-610 but the core won't do much above PE speeds, think 555-560 is about tops

fair enough but i have flashed lots and lots on all the cards i have.

I only use the custom bios to bench and then go back to the standard. But as long as you are careful where u get the bios' from and make sure that u back up your old one and have a pci card on standbye in case it really goes balls up and u need to boot using that to flash the other card. then its all gd

lies, he lies, its all lies

*starts crying*

the 6600gt is perfectly fine... aslong as you don't take off the small piece of electrical tape covering the vgpu resistor :D it has to permanently vmodded, otherwise the voltage drops and it freezes :D cause i kinda got some conductive epoxy all over the resistor :S

i'll have you know it's running absolutely fine in a mates pc, and i've even offered to buy it back off him when he comes to get something better :P
