To Join the OVC VPN go here to download hamachi the software needed then join the ovcforum network with the password [PM/xfire/msn me for this]

http://www.hamachi.cc/download/

This allows Us to share files as if we where on the same lan. It also allows for Lan games without the hassle of having the forward ports through your router.

I look forward to seeing you on and sharing some files.

P.s Anval is the computer hosting the channel for us as it is on 24/7 PLEASE leave this machine alone its got nothing on it.

Very useful how-to forum link for hamachi

Have it installed but i would like to say anyone using loadsa security might need to switch it off to be able to file share etc. This seemed to be a problem whilst sharing stuff with amd man a while ago.

all i needed to do was to set kaspersky to allow it and all was fine :)

in its default mode it bypasses my router firewall fine, although you can set a fixed port and port forward if you want

Um the program did do this for me aswell and a restart solved it. Did you select the increased security mode when u installed hamachi as this would stop file sharing.

Also @ everyone i have changed it so that people have to pm me to get the password for the network so that we only get people on it we trust so that we dont have to worry about being hacked and abused. Seam sensible?

Nope allowed file sharing, i think it is a pc setting, must be in paranoid mode or something as all my other pc's can see each other and my net pc can see them but they cant see my net pc (this is over my home network) hmmmm
