also, modular psus just aren't worth it imo

sure it means 5-10 mins less work tidying/hiding cables, but across any connector you get a voltage drop, and i remember reading that in the case of pc powersupplies, with large load situations this drop can be quite significant

no but i gave her a list of PSU's in and around that price range, and she said thats what she is willing to spend.

like i said, if anyone can recomend a PSU at same or higher Wattage for around the same price then goi ahead

how about a nice Qtec power supply,would suit you down to the ground :roll:

The fact is you have been shown a better psu and a single railer yet you seem obsessed with the whole wattage is everything....
