Interesting... Thanks.

Can't find anything about it on the internet though - anyone else heard of this?

I think connecting the earth wire to the motherboard aint a great idea, while watching TV on my pc, i can hear static, im going to try moving the earth wire somewhere else.

Anything metal really, but not the motherboard mounting holes because it's caused static noise when i was watching TV on my PC.

The PSU has a earth wire, just get some of those joining blocks...

The earth wire usually is screwed to the case of the PSU, if you can also find another wire that will handle the static, join it to the PSU ground wire and connect it to where you want...

Thanks but im no way the main modder here, im not looking for style, just aiming to be silent and hiding cable helps air flow.

A true enthusiast. I have the same sentiment. Why bother spending heaps of time making it look nice, I would rather be fragging or trying to squeeze some more FPS out of my rig through better cooler, etc.

Hey neo, is you motherboard tray removeable? Just wondering if you did that cutting inside the case... would be quite tricky, no?

Old Cheiftech case motherboard is not removable, it's a rock solid hard steel case so it didn't bend while drilling.

thanks, will check it, but does it really need an earth connection? Thought the adapter already took care of that? is it for redundancy?
