« Thu 26 Aug 2010, 15:26 »   I did try the Win 7 recovery stuff it couldn't fix it & I wasn't able to rebuild or replace from the disk in cmd propmt either. The actions reported gone through but no boot. I had no option but to re-install only took 2 days to put most of my software back on, arrghh :/

« Fri 13 Aug 2010, 14:03 »   it is true that the games lately have been shocking. That said I've started doing a [censored] load of CAD work and rendering so the power is still pretty useful, would swap to a Quadro if I had the money. Absolutely no need for a decent gaming graphics card atm.
« Fri 13 Aug 2010, 13:54 »   No justifiable reason to need a powerful pc anymore, not till they make some good new games. If it was online you won't need an invoice.
« Thu 12 Aug 2010, 19:57 »   As for not being on the boards much, I try not to spend a lot on components these days. I realised I was spending too much crazy money on them. So I guess I don't have much to talk about. :)
« Thu 12 Aug 2010, 19:46 »   If it was down to me now I would try one of the MSI boards. I championed this board but If anything happens to the next one in a year I won't buy ASRock for a good while. I'm gutted as I usually leave the invoice in the box but it's missing :( . So I won't be seeing an RMA or any money back for that one.
« Thu 12 Aug 2010, 19:42 »   Actually my AsRock P55 Deluxe just died so I guess I would have something new to contribute. I'm actually not happy as I have had to buy like for like to just drop in & carry on with a music project with no Windows boot up trouble.
